Accountant





Perform duties related to month-end close including journal entries and financial statement preparation and analysis. Prepare monthly management reports and quarterly allocation studies. Reconcile various accounts as assigned. Analyze data and create reports for management as needed. Lead and cross-train staff accountant and accounting specialists in their duties.



Requirements:



3-5 years experience in the preparation of financial statements is required. Accounting degree strongly preferred. Excellent spreadsheet skills using Excel are required. Proficiency in the use of Access, PowerPoint and Word are essential. Previous experience with Monarch a plus. Strong analytical and conceptual ability is required. Ability to work on multiple tasks is essential. Must be organized and have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to work with employees within and outside the department.
